Nayestane, Zarif Design Launch Event

In 2024–2025, Milk for Good contributed to supporting the establishment of a partnership between Nayestane’s learning spaces in Afghanistan and the social enterprise Zarif Design. This project aims to contribute to the empowerment of 33 young girls through the learning of a trade they can practise within their homes — in this case, embroidery and weaving.

In June, their work was celebrated at a launch event: oven gloves, place mats, aprons, table napkins, children’s dresses, soft toys and fabric decorations. A remarkably fine body of work from such young apprentices!
