Helping to provide access to care and extracurricular activities for young people in the Child Welfare system.

The Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation has been working for nearly 160 years for the education and integration of young people facing difficulties.

Founded in 1866, Apprentis d’Auteuil was built thanks to the commitment of its founders, Father Louis Roussel, who refused to resign himself in the face of society’s inability to help orphans and “street children” and to offer them dignified living conditions. This commitment has not faded and the foundation remains, today, as close as possible to the fragilities of its time: children and adolescents in danger, unaccompanied minors who arrive in France after a journey of exile, school dropouts, young people far from training and employment, etc.

In 2024, the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation supported 40,000 young people from early childhood to adulthood (in 430 establishments), 9,000 families, with nearly 8,000 employees and 2,000 volunteers. In the field of child protection, 9,700 young people were welcomed in 2023 in 94 dedicated establishments and programs.

Milk for Good contributes to setting up leisure, care and well-being activities for young people in the Child Welfare system housed in five social establishments of the network in the Pays-de-la-Loire region.
