Discovering living beings : a mini-museum to play, explore, and learn

Les Passeurs de Curiosités is dedicated to sparking children’s curiosity and wonder about the living world.

The organization was founded by Justine Goyon following a round-the-world journey that inspired her to rethink how children connect with nature. As a cultural mediator specializing in young audiences, she set herself the mission of transforming children’s relationship with the natural world by fostering awe instead of eco-anxiety, and by replacing the idea of human dominance over nature with a sense of wonder and respect. Established in 2019, the association believes that future generations will only be motivated to protect the environment if they first learn to appreciate the beauty of the natural world around them.

Working in schools, at public events, and with community organizations, the team offers a range of educational activities built around a common theme. Its flagship escape game, designed as a mini museum, invites children to discover the animal and plant species of a particular ecosystem, as well as the interactions between them, through puzzles, hands-on activities, and sensory exploration. Alongside the escape game, the association also offers complementary activities such as drawing and sculpting wildlife, displays of genuine fossils, and a themed library related to each ecosystem.

During the 2024–2025 school year, Les Passeurs de Curiosités reached 3,000 participants, including 2,800 children. The team delivered 423 sessions featuring its six mini museums—Urban Biodiversity, Coral Reefs, the Amazon Rainforest, Interspecies Cooperation, Wonders of the Living World, and the Vegetable Garden—across the Île-de-France region and the Moselle department.

Milk for Good supports the expansion of these mini museums in Paris and the Moselle region.
