MuMo, Visit to the “Being(s) Alive” Exhibition in Marines (95)
The MuMo settled for a few days in the heart of Val d’Oise, in Marines, to launch its exhibition Being(s) Alive on the theme of the Olympic Games. The works gathered do not depict sport itself, but revisit the creation of the Olympics in Antiquity as a means of reaching the perfection of the gods, the heavens and the cosmos. The exhibition thereby questions the relationship between humanity and the planet.
School groups and leisure centre groups took turns listening to the mediators speak about the artists, their techniques and ideas, before embarking on creating their own work.
Having first visited this department three years ago in two villages, MuMo planned a tour of eighteen communes by May 2024, and is now an integral part of Val d’Oise’s cultural offering.
