Extra-ordinaire Project in Support of Adapted Creation at the Théâtre National de Bretagne in Rennes, in partnership with the Centre National pour la création adaptée (CNCA)

The Cercle Culture of Un Esprit de famille, of which MFG is a member, contributed to funding the production and distribution of the show “Starting with the Limbs” by choreographer Annie Hanauer and the CIE l’Autre Maison. In this contemporary ballet, the choreographer blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination and questions representations of the body. Drawing on her own experiences and those of her four disabled and non-disabled dancers — including their relationship with limbs perceived as “outside the norm” — Annie Hanauer creates singular choreographic self-portraits.
The “Mixability” arts and cultural education project enabled 80 young people to take part in a series of dance workshops led by the dancers.
