Regar2moi
The relationship with animals — the horse at the service of children in difficulty.
Amandine Capellaro, a developmental psychologist in daily contact with children with disabilities, social or learning difficulties, decided to create Regar2moi in October 2014. Through therapeutic and educational activities, the association places the young person’s personal development at the center of its concerns, in order to support them in their learning and in setting up a professional project.
Young people are welcomed and supervised by a team of about ten people at the Ferme du Roisson. Regar2moi offers a methodology combining openness to the world and introspective work through manual activities (running a vegetable garden, cooking, fine arts, etc.), therapy (such as equine therapy, art therapy, music therapy, etc.), sport and relaxation, with the aim of opening young people to their potential. A food truck travelling around horse shows in France, for example, was created a few years ago, offering a professional opportunity to the association’s adolescents.
In 2024, 70 families were supported by the association, during 2,124 hours of therapeutic and educational workshops, thanks to the presence of eight professionals to supervise and design these activities.
Milk for Good finances monthly equine therapy hours for several beneficiaries.
