BAL – La Fabrique du Regard

LE BAL is an exhibition, resource and reflection venue around images, intended for as many people as possible. Its ambition is to inscribe visual arts (photography, cinema, video, new media) within a reflection on our societies.

LE BAL created La Fabrique du Regard, its educational platform, with the aim of training young people on the issues of representing the world through images; encouraging in them an attitude more concerned with the questions of “living together” and a civic sensitivity; soliciting and developing their tastes for visual creation in order to awaken their desire to make, think, and create alone or collectively.

In 2021, the endowment fund supported the “Mon Œil!” project carried out at the Charlotte Delbo high school in Dammartin-en-Goëlle (77), located in a rural area far from any artistic and cultural offering, involving 3 classes around 4 sessions of reflection and creation workshops over a school year on the theme: “Seeing is believing — proof through images?”
