{"id":1853,"date":"2026-09-28T12:21:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T10:21:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.milkforgood.fr\/?post_type=associations&#038;p=1853"},"modified":"2026-10-12T15:49:59","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T13:49:59","slug":"hugo-marchand-pour-la-danse","status":"publish","type":"associations","link":"https:\/\/www.milkforgood.fr\/en\/associations\/hugo-marchand-pour-la-danse\/","title":{"rendered":"Hugo Marchand Pour la Danse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Making classical dance accessible by taking it out of the theater<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> The \u00ab\u00a0Hugo Marchand pour la Danse\u00a0\u00bb association helps bring dance out of theaters and share it with a wider audience by offering exceptional performances accessible to everyone at a flat rate of \u20ac13.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\u00ab\u00a0Classical Dance Discovery\u00a0\u00bb workshops and opportunities to meet the artists are also organized during these weekends.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Founded in 2022 by Hugo Marchand, a principal dancer at the Paris Opera, the association reimagines access to classical and contemporary dance. Instead of traditional theater venues, it takes over the courtyards and gardens of French ch\u00e2teaux and other local heritage gems for the weekend.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The *Les \u00c9toiles au Ch\u00e2teau* project brings together eight exceptional artists\u2014six Paris Opera dancers and two musicians\u2014three times a year, in partnership with producer Alexandra Cardinale.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">During these weekends, dance workshops and discussion sessions are organized for the association\u2019s partners, including charitable organizations and public institutions (such as Apprentis d\u2019Auteuil and Child Welfare services).<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Now active in several French regions\u2014including Normandy, Centre-Val de Loire, Burgundy, and PACA\u2014the association partners with iconic historical monuments such as the Ch\u00e2teau de Chambord, Mont Saint-Michel, and the Ch\u00e2teau de Digoine.
