Pediatric cancers : from research to care.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since its creation, Institut Curie has had the mission of developing scientific research, treating patients and transmitting the discoveries that its teams initiate, for the benefit of patients and other international scientific communities.<\/p>\n

The SIREDO Center, created in 2018 and led by Professor Delattre, specializes in research on pediatric cancers while caring, thanks to the teams of the Institute and other Parisian hospitals, for patients suffering from these pathologies. The teams’ multidisciplinary and collaborative approach extends beyond scientific and medical aspects through social support for families, academic monitoring adapted to the ups and downs of illness and care, psychological support, and leisure activities both within and beyond the walls.<\/p>\n

The SIREDO Center team is composed of sixty caregivers, seventy scientists, and six research teams, and currently makes it possible to cure eight out of ten children, albeit at the cost of frequent after-effects.<\/p>\n

Milk for Good is contributing to the construction of the new building which will, from 2026, centralize all the SIREDO Center teams dedicated to pediatric cancer research as well as those dedicated to care.
